Introducción

En este apartado se darán a conocer los acontecimientos más importantes que promueve la (PROMEP), el programa de mejoramiento del profesorado surge a finales de 1996 durante el gobierno del presidente Ernesto Zedillo, el cual fue diseñado para mejorar el nivel de habilitación del personal académico de tiempo completo, orienta a mejorar las instituciones de educación superior y define las acciones hacia el sector educativo. El programa está diseñado ya que no cuenta con inconsistencias entre los objetivos de cada política, por tanto, se darán a conocer sus características porque son de suma importancia para el apoyo que la PROMEP promueve a la formación de los profesorados.

 

Abstrac

In this section will make known the most important events promoted by the (PROMEP), the teacher improvement program emerges at the end of 1996 during the government of President Ernesto Zedillo, which was designed to improve the level of enablement of full-time academic staff, aims to improve higher education institutions and defines actions towards the education sector. The programme is designed as it does not have inconsistencies between the objectives of each policy, therefore, its characteristics will be disclosed because they are of paramount importance to the support that PROMEP promotes to the training of teachers
